TELL US YOUR STORY:
"My gallery represents and exhibits contemporary artists, and hosts juried group shows. We present 2 or 3 concurrent exhibits each month, and our main goals are selling artwork to individuals, corporations, museums and civic collections, public exhibitions, and getting critical reviews by the free press. Informing our clients about the artists’ motivations, methods and career history is a major part of each day. I’m usually planted at the front desk with one hand on email, an ear to the phone, and trying to greet a visitor. Working with artists and interpreting their work to the public is fascinating, challenging, and totally fulfilling – every day brings mental, spiritual, poetic, emotional, and business engagement."
TELL US HOW YOU USE OUR PRODUCTS:
“I purchased Pina Zangaro binders in black linen to hold and present my artists’ biographical information. They have such a dignified touch, and look! If a visitor wants more information on an artist after I’ve discussed the juiciest highlights, then I bring out the handsome binders filled with statements, published reviews, museum catalogues, resumes, etc... Students, artists, collectors, curators, and the simply-curious often sit down in private to pour through the binders."
ANYTHING ELSE YOU WANT TO SHARE ABOUT OFFICE PDX:
"I’m a practical aesthete, so I love to shop at OFFICE PDX! My recent visit was just as exciting as my first when they opened in 2004. Form and function are crucial to me... OFFICE PDX has it dialed."
THE INSIDE TIP ON FROELICK:
"Moderns might scoff at “landscape” art, but the best of this genre is enduring. For the month of June, I’ve juried 32 artists from 250 applicants for a special art show called “Town & Country: Oregon at 150.” We’re celebrating treasured aspects of Oregon, and our sense of place. This show reminds me why I’m thrilled to live in this state in the first place." |
